Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if you can help me?
Upper cervical chiropractic care has proven beneficial for many different people experiencing many different health conditions.  Men, women, infants, children, teens, seniors, mothers-to-be, athletes, and accident victims all benefit from a healthy spine and nervous system.  While most of our patients are young to middle-aged women and men and their children, we see many different patients.  Upon completion of your first full visit, we will have a better idea of how we may be able to help you.  Before that, there’s really no way of knowing if we can help you yet.  As cool as it would be, we aren’t Superheroes, and we don’t have x-ray vision!
Can you help me with (fill in specific condition or concern)?
First of all, upper cervical chiropractic care is neither a treatment nor a cure for any specific health condition or disease.  Upper cervical chiropractic is focused on restoring balance and function to the spine and nervous system.  The nervous system controls every cell, muscle, organ, and system in the body.  Therefore, by restoring balance and function to the spine and nervous system, many patients have positive health changes throughout their body including their musculoskeletal system, immune system, cardiovascular system, and respiratory system, to name a few.
Are you accepting new patients right now?

Yes, Dr. Radziercz is currently accepting new patients.  To schedule a first visit, which includes a consultation, exam, and any necessary x-rays, you can access our online calendar here or call 412-766-0321.

When will I start feeling better?
Some patients feel changes and improvements as early as after their first adjustment (lucky!), while others may take a few months to notice a significant difference.  Because every person is different and every person has had different life experiences that have impacted their health, it’s hard to say exactly when you will start feeling better.  Regardless, don’t get discouraged if you take a little longer.  We can assure you that once your spine and nervous system are balanced, your body will begin to heal and function better whether or not you outwardly notice any changes right away.
What if I feel fine?
That’s great!  However, the most important aspect of health is not how you feel, but how your body is functioning.  Upper cervical chiropractic care focuses on restoring and maintaining balance and proper function of the spine and nervous system of every single patient.   The nervous system controls every cell, muscle, organ, and system in the body.  Therefore, restoring balance and function to the spine and nervous system gives your body the best chance to heal, be well, and stay well.
Do I really need upper cervical chiropractic care?
Yes, if you want to be healthy.  Having a balanced and properly functioning nervous system is the first and most essential step in living a healthy lifestyle.  Your nervous system controls your digestive system, and if your nervous system isn’t functioning properly, then your digestive system may not be functioning optimally.  What’s the point of eating healthy food if your body doesn’t know how to digest it, process it, and distribute it efficiently?  Same goes for exercise.  If you’re exercising with an imbalanced spine, all you’re doing is causing harm and damage to your body.
Do you see infants and children?
Yes, we check (and adjust if needed) infants and children in our practice.  Both of our own children have also been getting checked (and adjusted if needed) since birth.  We modify our procedures to fit the specific needs of all of our patients, including your little ones.  Chiropractic care is safe and effective for infants, toddlers, and children, and it is an essential aspect of living a healthy lifestyle.  Think of how strenuous the birth process can be, and think of how many falls and tumbles children have.  It’s so important to make sure their spines and nervous systems maintain balance and proper function as they are growing.
Is there a guarantee?
We cannot guarantee results, and past results do not guarantee future results.  However, we CAN guarantee that we will give you 100% attention and effort in helping you to feel better and be well.  We can also guarantee that if we don’t think we can help you, we will refer you to someone who might be able to help you.
Do you take insurance?
Pittsburgh Upper Cervical Chiropractic is an out-of-network provider for all insurances.  All patients are considered cash patients until insurance is verified.  Once insurance is verified, we will discuss your expected coverage and any out-of-pocket expenses that you are responsible for.  We offer affordable care and payment plans to all of our patients, regardless of insurance coverage.
How much does it cost?
The first visit includes a consultation, exam, and any necessary x-rays.  The second visit includes a full report of findings and first adjustment.  Click here to learn more about what to expect at the first two visits and the cost for these visits.  Follow up visits include getting checked and adjusted if needed.  Payment plans are available, and all fees are discussed before services are rendered.  Payment is due at the time services are rendered and can be paid in the form of cash, check, or credit card.
Are your patient stories and testimonials really real?
Absolutely!  We’re kind of offended that you asked!  In our office, every patient (we may have missed a few here and there) fills out an HONEST testimonial and evaluation questionnaire after completing their first three months of care.  We take their EXACT written words and type them into paragraph form so that they are more readable here on the website and in other publications. We use these testimonials and evaluations to give hope to other patients and to improve upon the services we offer.  We can’t reveal patients’ names due to our Practice’s Privacy Notice; however, you can read all of the original handwritten testimonials and evaluations in a binder in our reception area.

We help people just like you get out of pain, overcome even the most challenging health problems, and get back to actually living.

You're up next!
